The Role
We’re looking for an energetic Inside Sales Representative to grow revenue across our electrical distributor, manufacturer rep agency, and contractor/ESCO channels. You’ll be the day-to-day point of contact for quoting, project support, and account development — turning inbound opportunities into orders and building lasting partner relationships. This is a hybrid role combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a pipeline of accounts across electrical distributors, rep agencies, electrical contractors, and ESCOs
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, project bids, and cross-reference requests with fast turnaround
- Support outside reps and agency partners with pricing, product selection, spec sheets, lead times, and sample requests
- Proactively prospect new distributor branches and contractor accounts by phone and email
- Guide customers to the right product using knowledge of ATG’s catalog, DLC listings, and utility rebate programs
- Coordinate with operations on order status, inventory availability across our six DCs, and delivery timelines
- Track activity, opportunities, and forecasts in CRM
- Represent ATG at occasional trade shows, counter days, and customer trainings
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or account management experience — lighting, electrical, or building products industry strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of the electrical distribution channel and/or lighting rep agency model a plus
- Strong phone and written communication skills; comfortable managing a high volume of quotes and follow-ups
- Technical aptitude — able to read spec sheets, understand photometrics basics, and learn a deep product catalog
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Organized, self-motivated, and competitive with a customer-first attitude
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $50,000–$65,000 plus uncapped commission (on-target earnings $70,000–$90,000)
